Where Was God?

Where was your "God" when WWII happened? Where was your "God" during the genocide in Rwanda? Where was your "God" when during the atrocities of the Vietnam war? And during the famine and hunger in Ethiopia? If your Deity created the human race, then why would He create people like Adolf Hitler, a Roman Catholic who, by the way, would not have committed his genocides if there were no religion. Why would he give certain people the urge to kill? Why would He create an imperfect race? If God created the world and everything in it, then why would he allow tsunamis and tornadoes? Or Cancer?
What I am asking, is why would God make a race that is so likely to kill itself and each other? Why would he make people that die at birth from serious body dysfunctions? Furthermore, why would God, if he were real, not intervene in the atrocities of the 20th Century like he did in the days of the Bible? Most of all, why would you worship a being who is jealous, spiteful, and killed many more people in the Bible than his "counterpart" Satan? "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me", (Exodus 20:15). In the Bible, it clearly states that jealousy is a sin, so therefore, God is a sinner. This would mean that he is a hypocrite, and should go to hell for his sins.
